Our Mission
We recognize that the Horse is the heart and soul of our sport. Our mission is to advocate and educate for the health and welfare of our Equine partners. Riding and showing should be both educational and fun! After all, this is WHY we do it! BRV is proud to provide a multi-facted approach to further Equine care and Equestrian education. From providing assistance for Emergency Veterinary bills, producing user-friendly horse shows, holding an entry level high score medal finals, offering educational clinics and providing financial assistance through our Foundation, we hope to further the pursuit of helping horses and developing horsemen.

Meet the Team
Naomi Gauruder
President & Founder
Naomi has been on horses since before she could walk. As the daughter of two professionals, she was in the barn at an early age. Naomi enjoys specializing in Young Horses, and enjoys the process of bringing them along. Naomi was the Head Coach of the Fairfield University Equestrian Team for several seasons, and is the owner of BHC Horse Show Management. She is well known for her work as a show manager, show secretary and course designer.
Ashley Kapcsandi
Treasurer
Ashley is a graduate of Fairfield University where she was a member of the IHSA riding team and competed under the Blue Ribbon Ventures banner. Ashley currently works in marketing.
Alysia Morris
Vice President
Alysia has been involved with horses since a very young age. As former Competitor, Captain and Coach of the Sacred Heart University Equestrian Team, Alysia now is thrilled to share her love of horses with her three children.
Meg Black
Secretary
Meg is the owner and head trainer at Islewood Farm in Deer Island ME. She is a USEF "R" Judge, and travels the East Coast both as a judge and well respected clinician. She enjoys working to install confidence in timid riders and with IEA & IHSA level students.
